Tours

I mentioned before that we will be doing some tours for the first time EVER while on our trip. The ones I am the most excited for, I think, are the Seas Aqua Tour at Epcot, and the Wanyama Safari at our resort, Animal Kingdom Lodge.

The Seas Aqua Tour is a swimming tour in the tank inside the Seas with Nemo and Friends pavilion at Epcot. We will be able to swim on the surface of the 5.7 million gallon salt water tank using a supplied air snorkel system. We will be using this experience also to see if my younger sister, who is 11, is comfortable doing things like this in the water. If all goes well, we plan on getting scuba certified so that on the next trip we are able to go on the Epcot DiveQuest.

The Wanyama Safari Tour is available exclusively to guests of the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It is a small group afternoon safari followed up by dinner at Jiko - The Cooking Place, which is almost as exciting for me as the promised up close encounters with African wildlife!

If any of you have done either of these tours, I would love to hear what you thought about them! I also plan on giving my reviews after I have done them.

  1. How was the Seas Aqua Tour? I am scared of depths, but that picture makes it look pretty awesome! Let's just say that if it passes the test for your 11-yr old sister, than it MIGHT pass the test for 23 yr-old me ;)
